A young man who is the only Baha’i in his family has been going to school while also dedicating significant amounts of his remaining time to service in neighborhoods. The Regional Council let his mother know how impressed it is with her son’s character and dedication.
His mother wrote back how she appreciates the Baha’is’ “support and their tremendous love towards” her son “and the rest of the family” She wrote that her son’s “involvement in the Baha’i Faith and its activities has been truly a transformation for all of us.” She explained that the Baha’i “practices of showing love to every human being and service to all is truly a source of inspiration and affirmation of the good left in humanity.” She ended that “you are all part of our family now and we all have a part to play in his educational advancement and his service to the world.” His mother explained that it was with God’s help that they were able to raise up their son to be of good character.
